Veu da Noiva Waterfall, Chapada dos Guimaraes

(4.3/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Although waterfalls abound in Brazil, Veu da Noiva Waterfall is unique because it is one tall, single drop. With a height of 87 meters (285 feet), it is the third highest waterfall in Brazil. A guide is not necessary as the walk itself is very short and easy. It offers one of the best restaurants in Chapada, perfect to enjoy a meal, drink, and to take in the scenery. • The veil of the bride is a beautiful waterfall, there is a good infrastructure, such as parking, snack bars and restrooms. To take the whole family, from children to the elderly.

  • The location is beautiful, but the structure is poorly cared for. The bars are rusty and some falling protection.

  • The site is clearly very abandoned, at the entrance to a doorman of the schedules information, but on the way down is all very precarious, you make a trail in the Woods and when you arrive at the waterfall one can see that the site this abandoned long ago, but the view is very worthwhile.
