Cantina Tonet Winery, Caxias Do Sul

During the grape harvest (January to March), Cantina Tonet Winery welcomes visitors to their vineyard to learn about the wine production process. Witness the journey of the grapes from vine to bottle, and even have a go yourself at extracting the juice from the grapes the traditional way--using you feet!--as passed down from generation to generation by the Tonet family, who first arrived in Brazil, from Italy, in 1897. At the end of the tour, visitors are offered the chance to purchase some Cantina Tonet wine straight from the source, at a discounted price, of course. I my husband met the winery that was included in the tour package offered by Maria Fumaça Victory TUR. was worth knowing! We'd like to have seen the Green grape vines, but by the time of the year are dry! You can render good pictures, because they're easily accessible to the public. In Tanith can sample more than 20 types of drinks. We bought three bottles of wine. They also sell: cachaça, liqueurs, sweets, Salamis and cheeses.

We were very well received with a presentation of the products manufactured there, then we were guided by the Vinicula who told us the history of the place, explained a little about the manufacture of wines and which by the way are great! Worth knowing!

Wonderful place. The wines are delicious and the grape juice, our divine. All are very attentive and treated us very well. Don't you tell almost nothing about production, is fully back the sale, but still worth it! The price is good. The grape juice was 18.00 1 l red wine and soft table was 19.90. The others I don't remember.

Wines of great quality!!! Grape juices divine! Very good service, but what draws attention is the tasting, which in addition to being cost as the visit is still sick ... Juice, wine to Grappa or fruit liqueur. Great alternative for those who enjoy wine!

Very interesting place, familiar and cozy. The tour was pretty fast, but enough to enjoy the place. Have one of the best grape juices I have ever experienced.
