Cantina Tonet Winery, Caxias Do Sul

(4.5/5 based on 400+ reviews on the web)
During the grape harvest (January to March), Cantina Tonet Winery welcomes visitors to their vineyard to learn about the wine production process. Witness the journey of the grapes from vine to bottle, and even have a go yourself at extracting the juice from the grapes the traditional way--using you feet!--as passed down from generation to generation by the Tonet family, who first arrived in Brazil, from Italy, in 1897. At the end of the tour, visitors are offered the chance to purchase some Cantina Tonet wine straight from the source, at a discounted price, of course. • Rustic and cosy place. Delicious food, attentive waiters, wine of own cant (delicious) eats very well and everything ahead. Oh, and delicious desserts. After lunch, the destination is a visit to the factory's retail, where you can take home the delicious wines of this Winery!!

  • The ambiance is rustic and the service is familiar. The round-robin system account with wine from the winery itself Faces at home. However, the food leaves a lot to be desired. Polentas fries that are not crispy. Breaded cheese soaked in oil. Bland pasta. Nothing seemed new and fresh. The only dishes that remained was the soft polenta and the tortei. The values charged, have a plethora of canteens and galeterias available in Caxias with food more tasty and well made.

  • Ótima degustação, vinhos excelentes e muito baratos. Aberta 24h por dia, segundo um sanfoneiro muito legal que estava por aqui. Quem estiver pela região não pode perder.
