  • The water park is shaping up to be one of the best in the world. The variety and the quality of its mineral waters are exceptional, hardly surpassed by other mineral sources. Even with all this potential, it is very sad to see the State of disrepair. For this fact I found the title "Regrettable". Anyway, I noticed that you're starting a process of recovery and maintenance of buildings, and some care in the gardens. I hope that these are first steps towards complete revitalization of the Park. City policy is essential and Codemig, which currently holds the concession for the exploitation of mineral waters, extolling the value of the Park and encouraging disclosure through programs to encourage tourism in the region.

  • Could park is more well maintained, some dirty parts and very dry vegetation. Should follow the same rhythm of your neighbor in San Lorenzo. Has great water and great place to walk around and pass the time.

  • Beautiful place with a wealth of mineral waters that was blown away. The entrance is a super affordable price, is a good place to spend time and relax. The cable car is the largest cheap! An iron chair that rocks don't fall anymore lol, really beautiful view. However ... Like all public matters in our country, lack of maintenance, buildings lack staff and investment in tourism. The city of Caxambu is unkempt and has no structure to receive many tourists not to mention the highways leading to the city that are regrettable. I hope this picture one day revert, because as said Ruy Barbosa in 1919 "water park is a jewel that still shine wealth your Mining".

  • There are so many pictures ... one more beautiful than the other. More I recommend this park. I believe that should be a part of the script (something required). I don't know any Park with a similar structure. Super Woody. Recognized for its medicinal and mineral waters (take bottles to fill and take home). There are 12 sources scattered through the Park. A huge Lake and beautiful with many birds. Paddle boat service. Has an outdoor pool and massage area. Recommend light clothes and appropriate shoes for the walk is long.

Where to stay in Caxambu

Old colonial-style hotels with onsite spas are the traditional choice in Caxambu, given its reputation as a spa town. Those with a more authentic rusticity tend to be costlier, though time of year dictates prices more than competition. In the small city's side streets, you'll find a range of accommodations in newer-build properties, from simple hotels to bed and breakfasts in formerly residential blocks. All are less expensive than the spa hotels, and well positioned to get out and see the sights of the town and surrounding nature.
