Be sure to stop by to admire the panoramic view of the whole city.
Vista agradável de toda a cidade e região. Caminho é bem íngreme e passa por um dos bairros da cidade. more »Nice view of the entire city and region. Path is very steep and passes through one of the districts of the city.
Subimos pelo teleférico mas também é acessível por carro. A vista é linda! Tem algumas lojinhas e um restaurante. Vale a visita. more »Climb by cable car but is also accessible by car. The view is beautiful! There are a few shops and a restaurant. Worth the visit.
It's not easy to get in, because the signage is precarious. The final stretch is very steep and some cars have difficulty in rising. When I went, everything was closed, but the panoramic view of the valley town. People with difficulty of locomotion have no time there, because not have handrails on stairs.
Very pretty, especially by cable car.
The ascent can be pretty tense for some due to time. The cable car goes right in the middle of the Park and then climb a small mountain. Coming up there has a small fair with some handicrafts is a species of medieval tower where you can have a good view and take good pictures. The ascent and descent of the gazebo is made by a newly renovated cable car and is in great condition. The only bad part is that there is little movement at the top of the observation tower, and when I went there were a few strange faces in place, but you can never be too careful. Recommend going in groups and never alone.
Beautiful ride in the cable car to the top of the Hill. The view is beautiful.
Great place! Beautiful view! ☮️

Where to stay in Caxambu
Old colonial-style hotels with onsite spas are the traditional choice in Caxambu, given its reputation as a spa town. Those with a more authentic rusticity tend to be costlier, though time of year dictates prices more than competition. In the small city's side streets, you'll find a range of accommodations in newer-build properties, from simple hotels to bed and breakfasts in formerly residential blocks. All are less expensive than the spa hotels, and well positioned to get out and see the sights of the town and surrounding nature.
