  • I was staying in Alto Paraíso and to access the waterfall were about 90 km, and 20 km of these in dirt road (not for any car, unless you have little care with her). The GPS led to the Kalunga community (a Quilombola community that is not organized at the level of its greatest attraction). In this community, should take a guide, because access to the falls is not easy orientation, although it is of little difficulty track. When I got to the waterfall, I was disappointed, because the same was with the color very cloudy and with a force so great that gave courage to not take a shower. They told me the ideal period of visitation is during the drought. After the ride, which takes about 3 hours, it is very nice to eat a food super simple (just the place, because the price is normal restaurant, R $30.00/person). Get ready to spend, as well as the food, you have to pay the tab (R$ 40.00) and the entrance to the Park ($ 20.00/person).

  • Simply a perfect place! Looks fake! Even going after a waterspout at dawn, the water was wonderful, but it gets even more crystal clear than we got. Exciting!

  • Think of a beautiful waterfall! Now think again because you haven't even at the foot of the Santa Barbara represents. The waterfall is located within the reserve of a remaining the Calungas Quilombola community. You take a dirt road after Chan, with a guide (required). This experience completely worth the effort falls. It is simply beautiful!
