I really enjoyed there
Has more value and historical symbolism that natural beauty. Is a small elevation that gained notoriety is historical significance for being the first point of the Brazilian territory to be sighted by the Portuguese on your arrival here in the 16th century. The Hill is part of the Monte Pascoal environmental reserve that is protected by law and is occupied by pataxó Indians. Therefore, the members of this tribe are the only trained and authorized guides to monitor tourists to the Summit of the Hill, for a fee charged per person. Therefore, access and visitation to the elevation are not free to tourists alone. When I was there I and family were led by a young Indian named Caxiló Patachó accredited, you're going to telling the story of your people in the region, during the walk of some 1,500 m. The trail in the woods that leads to the Pai is full of curiosities for the visitors and cultural meanings to the natives, such as the monument of the square of the resistance.
Where it all started in Brazil.
