Where to stay in Caraguatatuba

As you'd expect, the beach is the place to stay in Caraguatatuba. A multitude of hotels and beach resorts line the curved coastline, most of them with swimming pools and a range of other creature comforts. Look along Avenue Dr Artur Costa Filho for easiest access to the city's largest and most iconic beach. For budget accommodations, look inland to the neighborhood of Prainha. On its narrow streets you'll find an abundance of small guesthouses offering competitive prices, and they're still only a few minutes' walk from a palm-lined beach.

  • The greatest attraction of prainha is undoubtedly is natural, the sculptress jump this stone is a challenge of the heads that they dive, as it is very shallow there

  • Prainha is pretty full this season, with several kiosks with live music and various stalls, is great for those who like excitement in a beautiful beach, to get on the rock in the Gator you have to go through a light trail, the view is great and you can jump into the Sea (adventurers on duty, be careful with the agitation of the sea) the last time I went was with my girlfriends and spend a couple of hours of late afternoon on the rock enjoying the view. We were in low budget for this holiday and it didn't stop us from enjoying some snacks at the kiosks, so the cost is ok.
