  • Viruá National Park is a hidden Pearl. As it is not open for visitation, it is necessary to contact the ICMBio to schedule the visit. For this reason most visitors is a researcher, which makes the quiet place. There's camping area and, depending on the stocking, arm or put the sleeping bag, plus a kitchen (shared). The best are the trails, where you can hear many birds, view old trees and, with luck, see several species of larger animals. In two tracks we saw three species of monkey, black-fronted piping-Guans, sloth, agouti and tayra, herons, macaws. Too good.

  • Nature.. animals. As I am passionate about animals, loved the location. It's perfect for watching them, photograph them, even to have a closer contact.
