Recommend bring sunscreen, a hat, plenty of water, slippers and clothes and comfortable shoes. The entry charge and real money 35 or 40 on the card. There's on-site restaurant, with bathroom and parking. The trail is relatively easy, however long and little shade. If you take small child like me, I recommend that you be in a group, for being able to rotate the neck (my son is almost three years). On this trail you can go through three water falls. The first is called "on the edge", the second is called cachoeira do scream and the third is the Golden well. It is possible to enter the three, because form natural pools. In the waterfall of screaming it takes down a steep staircase of about 100 steps, but it's worth it! Children love with the natural's selling pool cleaner now ... full of fishes. At the Golden well, you need to pick up a trail that passes through the water, approx. 80 meters. The water here is verrrrry cold, in beating little local Sun, but the way is beautiful and filled with stone totems made by tourists who visit the site. Note that this trail and several others that are on private property not open for visitation on Mondays.

At the entrance has an Inn and restaurant, parking and infrastructure. Not on the trail and not in the waterfalls there is bathrooms or any other kind of services. There are signs indicating the waterfalls. The place is really beautiful, but by the value charged I missed and security people to guide or assist in a possible accident.

As 3 cachoeiras são lindas ! Trilhas são tranquilas com algumas partes mais difíceis! Mas o Ponto Alto é o Poço Dourado! É um lugar mágico tem que ir para entender! more »The 3 waterfalls are beautiful! Trails are quiet with some parts more difficult. But the highlight is the Golden Well. Is a magical place you have to go to understand!

There are to many outsiders guests that use the same place as the inn guests. It makes to many noise and mess. The breakfast is OK. But not good. Hosts are also OK. But not super friendly. Rooms are clean. But they could have expended a little bit more with double bed, toilet sit...
Carlos AndradeJuly 26, 2017Amazing scenery, beautiful and preserved. My visit took place in July 2017 and the value for the trail and the waterfalls was of R $35.00. The signaling is ok and someone sedentary and complainer by nature can sizzle a bit, Yes, you descend to the Valley, enjoy the waterfalls and icy waterfalls and, of course, returns rising. The restaurant offers a lunch at a fair price and taste delicious.
Camila Castro SilvaJune 20, 2017Very cool, but I don't think it's suitable for children, the elderly or people who do not have the minimum fitness. The tracks for two of the three waterfalls is very steep and very tiring. But who doesn't want to go to the waterfalls, you can enjoy the redario, pool and restaurant.
Ursula AagesenApril 26, 2017I SPENT RAGE! I'VE BEEN DOING the SUN R $40.00-and the ORGANIZERS ALLOWED PEOPLE who were DOING the trail USING SOUND DEVICE, INSTEAD of enjoying the NATURE I DID the walk with ANGER YOU HAVE PAID for a TRAIL in the BUSH and RECEIVED a BAILE FUNK. I SPOKE with 3 guides and with the owner who DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!!! THEY DON'T HONOR the DISCLAIMER that MAKE US SIGN BEFORE WALKING on the TRAIL == 8) number > MAKE USE of AUTO SOUND or PRODUCE SOUND that DISTURBS the TRANQUILITY of the OTHER VISITORS.

Where to stay in Capitolio
Given the general focus on outdoor activities, rooms in Capitolio tend to be pretty simple, and services basic. Save on costs by foregoing a room with a view, or avoid the main, purpose-built hotels of the urban area. If you do stay by the reservoir, expect to pay a higher price for some pretty spectacular views across the water. Heading a little farther out of town can also keep prices down, although some resort-style accommodations also lie in the remote areas, occupying big sites with abundant natural charm.
