Amidst breathtaking scenery, you will find Flor do Vale - Alambique e Parque Ecologico, where you can learn about the process of distilling cachaça, Brazilian rum. The place lies in a valley near Canela and has a yellow bus that leaves from the central square of the city every day. You can reach the distillery by car as well and there is a parking lot on site. Upon arriving, stroll down the natural path through the surrounding woods. The visit begins, with or without an accompanying guide (upon request), using the signs and explanations available in each building. The infrastructure is comprised of five different buildings, with areas for production, ageing and bottling, as well as a restaurant and an emporium selling all related product lines.

The guides take you through the whole process of making cachaca, which is completely natural. You can taste the different types of rum and even make a bottle of custom rum to gift someone. • After seeing the reviews here on the trip I decided to visit the still Flower of the Valley, and have not regretted it. The Park is beautiful too, you pay a fee of 15 actual visitation, have the trails to the top of the waterfalls and the others will go into the base with a comfortable shoes, light clothes, because the stretch is hard, but worth every step that you descend to contemplate that divine nature. At the end we visited the part of the alembic, has several old cachaças exhibition, a kind of Museum, very nice, also has tasting in the sales area, which by the way great products!

  • The ride is self-explanatory, you follow the signs and follow the path of the production of cachaça. If you want, there are some beautiful trails well short. Good for taking pictures under a waterfall. R$15,00 per person. If you want, you can just shop the gift shop or play in the target shooting with rubber revolver (all expenses paid).

  • It's a beautiful place with a massive waterfall that you can actually get to the base. They advertise animals, such as monkeys and other native creatures, but I couldn't find any. You pay $15 per person if you want to go to their trails and to the waterfall. An extra $20 can buy you some archery practice. An extra $30 can buy you some gun practice. You can taste their traditional brazilian drink called "cachaça" (ka-sha-sah), which has 40% alcohol. You can also understand how the drink is made. They provide a booze bus to pick you up/drop off at the hotel if you want to try the drinks (cost varies). The roads there are unpaved with lots of potholes, so prepare your car for a dirt/dust fest. No one speaks English there.
  • Visit great! Very nice walk around the cacharia know the process to make cachaça. The location is very nice direct contact with nature features a gazebo where the photos are beautiful and for those who enjoy trails eh great too. I loved the visitation

  • Stay in Cinnamon/RS. In addition to providing a good cane spirit, there are other recreational activities, such as shooting with a bow and arrow.
