  • Great ride for all ages, couple with or without children, groups of friends, the elderly and children. In short, it's worth spending the day there, or at least a morning and lunch at the site. I researched a lot and told me that this park is better than the Parque do Caracol, which is close, and you have basically the same landscapes, but this Horseshoe Park is more complete. Are 3 observatories, well assured of getting in all of them. There are 4 tracks, but I did just two, the trail of pontoons is very quiet, you can go quiet, any age. The Park has indicative boards is pretty safe, you don't need a guide and can go a couple who will enjoy it too. There is no lease options areas with barbecue, table and chairs, you take the meat, coal and beer (or mate) and celebrate with family and friends. The lookouts you have views of the river Fell, skirting the Horseshoe Valley, a Canyon that is said to be one of the largest in South America. To advise the radicals make the track longer, and very hard, when I was a young couple, and with apparent physical conditioning, returned from the very tired. There are warnings for sedentary people don't do the 1 hour trail, actually are 2:00, (round trip). Good water, and mosquito repellent, as it has many mosquitoes. Cell phone almost won't start. There is a restaurant that is self service, homemade food, very good, with desserts and many options. The Park closes at 5:00 pm, this course has drawn more a warning not to come down after the 3:00 pm. But the Park is a ride for all ages, super recommended. Contact with nature and who are lucky can observe some coatis, who care for picnicking, hear report that they steal the food and running away. Have to pay a small amount of ticket, I went with my wife and we pay R $24.00 (12.00 each), for sure the cheapest ride in the region, and one of the best. Access to the Park is by dirt road, except for a few small holes, can go well drive (I went with a 1.0) are 6 to 7 km, only the last 800 m which is good walk slowly and carefully with the holes, but nothing that is impassable. Attention! Take money because when I went to the restaurant wasn't passing, card is not expensive, two lunches with dessert and juice, didn't spend more than R $75.00.

  • Arguably the most beautiful place I've ever known in gramado. The view of the river divided the two mountains is amazing. The park features a deck, you can make beautiful pictures, with the mountains and the River in the background. Actually when you get there, don't you just want to leave. For those who enjoy nature and its beauty, this is the place!

  • Definitely worth the visit. You pay $12 for each person. Children and seniors pay less. It has the most amazing lookout canyon of the whole region. If you're adventurous, there are trails that lead to waterfalls. However, they are tough. It's a 400m descent, that takes about 60min. There's no phone signal and no one to help you. You need to take provisions, repelent and lots of water. Afterwards, you'll have to go back up, which is even harder. You can't start that descent after 4pm. It is incredibly worth the time and effort. Very beautiful and peaceful. I saw a tarantula on my way up. Besides that, the place offers a little restaurant with homemade food at a reasonable price. The whole place only accepts cash because there is no phone signals around.

  • A very nice Park with a beautiful view. There are three trails, a light, a medium, and heavy. There are several viewpoints. The environment is pleasant and very quiet, full of coatis who steal the food from visitors. Great ecologic and to run the tours tourist slot machines that have in gramado and canela. Still has a restaurant that makes a very good and inexpensive home cooking, so it's worth having lunch there. Just take money because it can be that the card is not accepted, because the mobile signal is weak. I'd say it's a must. One of the best tours of the region. How is a little away, is not full of tourists, but you can go by car.

  • Park with beautiful views of the River makes a horseshoe shape. To enter the Park pays R $12.00 person. The Park has small trails of 5 minutes that will end in lookouts and a 1 hour long track. To get in the Park are 4 km of dirt road and pebbles

  • The lookouts have beautiful views. The restaurant does not accept card there, because there's no sign of any. Worth eating there, and tasty comfort food.

Hostels and simple guesthouses abound, most in buildings that fit with the town's traditional architecture. You won't find any large hotels or expansive resorts in Canela, though higher-end accommodations exist in the form of warm, cosy villas with pleasant gardens. Most places to stay are concentrated around the west of town in or around the neighborhood of Vila Suzana, which lies on the road to nearby Gramado.
