  • One of the best attractions of Campos do Jordão, the fishing is a nice place, beautiful, well cared for. Houses tanks with clear water lets you see the blue trout and CARP. Fish your own food is very cool and fun. I found the high prices but worth it: $35/kg the whole fish for lead and $70/kg to do it at the restaurant. Be is just walking without fishing, $5.00 per person.

  • We enjoy the fishing and restaurant, cozy place, with breeding grounds and nurseries for trout, and the restaurant next door

  • Place quite nice and newly renovated. Very good trout bait. Great service! Fair price. Recommend!

  • The location is nice and the dishes are large (enough for two people with a little hungry, so the account is cheap). Standard prices for the region and the attendant was super polite. But the trout came quite cold (I believe they put cold sauce after ready) and were with many thorns. Anyway it was too hot to passion fruit and the capers, recommend both. The breakfast offered at the end of the account was charged on 5 real ... I thought it would be for free as usually occurs. The Petit gateou was horrible, so the cupcake as the syrup, don't ask for in any way.

  • It is unfortunate treat tourists like suckers. The scale weighs you trout fishing doubles the weight. The value of kg is already high. Don't need this additional trickery. And the dishes served in the restaurant are very poor. Rice old, reheated.

  • The place is nice, but externally, long, not very hygienic (we had to ask for clean/replace table towel, waitresses do not use tray-holding the dish comes in your hand with the thumb almost touching the food). The food is not bad, but the menu is expensive for the amount of food served. I ordered a saquerinha that came to aguada. Cost benefit doesn't pay, even for distance.

  • The food is great but the service is very bad and disorganized. A few waiters, extreme delay to serve drinks and portions, expensive dish for the amount of food served, there are not many care about local hygiene. Dishes served without tray, with the thumb of the waiter at the dish to be served. Need to improve a lot the attention and care with hygiene.

  • The trout dishes are tasty. If you visit Amantikir, it pays to visit the restaurant, but I don't know if it's worth it to go just to sample the dishes.

Where to stay in Campos Do Jordao

In keeping with the city's architectural style, most places to stay in Campos do Jordao are cozy wooden guesthouses or inns, rather than large hotel complexes. Concentrated in the neighborhood of Capivari, a couple miles northeast of the city center, Campos do Jordao's accommodations offer a relaxed, country-style atmosphere. Given the demographic of tourists who typically visit the city, you'll struggle to find budget lodging options, such as youth hostels. Reserve your room in advance, especially if visiting during the winter high season (May through August), to avoid disappointment.
