  • When has the activities that they offer is pretty cool, a different and very quiet ride that offers a legal culture

  • The site works on the weekend of 17 at 9:00 pm. To observe through a telescope just after dark, and I went on daylight saving time, so start watching almost 8 P.M.. The site is abandoned and astronomers say they often need to get money out of your pocket for maintenance. Absolute disregard of public administration. Value of the input is very symbolic, just 4 reais per person. I didn't stay for observation because it would take too long.

  • The location is beautiful, but is in need of maintenance. Works on Sundays of the 17:00 the 21:00 hours when the weather is nice. Has only one telescope working for the public, causing huge queues to see the planets and the moon. Worth going there is to find astronomers who are always on hand to explain with a lot of patience for all kinds of people that go there. The day I went was Julio Lobo who is responsible, and Nelson, astronomer who set up this 40 years and the Observatory told many interesting stories. They are very witty and was a delight to hear so many stories. Worth knowing. Let's hope the city doesn't leave this place so beautiful and so important to the city of Campinas.
