  • Despite being a public body, we see the great effort of the employees meet the public with excellence, good equipment, great time for the family.

  • When visitors enter the space, he has to remember that we're in a public space, and that therefore faces as all difficulties in funding and resources for improvements in space not to be disappointed and admire even more the work of those responsible for the space. Still, it's a neat, space officials present and always willing to help. Has exhibitions of replicas of ships, various informational panels, an auditorium that passes informational videos. There is an outdoor area well cared for, with banks and solar clocks there is a telescope on an Observatory of the 60 (unfortunately only for decoration, for years awaiting repairs) for visitation, which is the highest point in the city of Campinas, and you can see the city of Arlington Heights and Jundiaí. A pity that there is no free area to admire the sunset, because in this region there is a little wood ... But does not erase the brightness of the place! When the sun sets, the astronomer gives a little talk, and leads us to a telescope to look at the Moon and any other celestial body, if there is any instability in the sky. Recommend to visit when the astronomer for Julio Lobo, a show of sympathy and a gift in such technical and knowledge transform hard in something light and that is accessible to all audiences!

  • It is a very quiet, excellent place to be in contact with nature and enjoy the observation of the stars and planets. The nights are cold so I suggest go well sheltered. The road is in very bad shape, but the activity is worthwhile. It would repeat the enchanted visit.
