Moises Lucarelli stadium, Campinas
(3.2/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
This "majestic stadium," as the local crowd calls the Moises Lucarelli stadium, receives almost 20,000 visitors each time the home team takes the field. Since its inauguration in 1948, the stadium has frequently hosted soccer matches between Ponte Preta club and their biggest rival, Guarani, the team from just across town. Spend an afternoon watching a derby game between these old rivals and experience that classic Brazilian match atmosphere. This is the country's third largest stadium, founded by Moisés Lucarelli, honored in the official name of the site. His bust stands in the entrance hall. In 2000, after a long series of defeats, some superstitious fans argued that the founder ought to see the team playing, and the bust was rotated 180 degrees. You don't have to be a soccer fanatic, though, to enjoy the game from the low bleachers that will make you feel like part of the action on the field. • Well located Stadium, but hard to stop and the grandstands seems third division team, the ticket is extremely expensive when times of speech are presented there.

  • My second home, I follow the games Denies Sister since I was 9 years old. Until today very proud of this wonderful Club, this stadium was done by. own supporters, that through the passion and the masses, was born our rich history. Many stories, many joys and of course, sadness. Thank You Eternal Moisés Lucarelli.

  • The estádio Moisés Lucarelli was the third largest in Brazil at the time of its construction in the 50. In addition to having been built by the fans of Ponte Preta, this landmark has several classic stories over time. Definitely worth at least pass ahead to see the architecture that was declared as patrimony of the city.
