Acude Velho is part of historical heritage of the city of Campina Grande. Previously a source of water supply, it is now popular lake in the city center. There are two monuments on the banks of the lake, the Pioneers of Borborema consisting of three figures representing the Indian, the cotton picker, and drover, and the bronze monument statues of Luiz Gonzaga and Jackson do Pandeiro.   • Is one of the most famous sights of Campina Grande. Great for hiking and enjoy the scenery.

  • For me it is the most enjoyable of the city of Campina Grande enabling walks its margin with wooded areas. Around the rim still has a few restaurants that allow a full ride.
