Acude Velho is part of historical heritage of the city of Campina Grande. Previously a source of water supply, it is now popular lake in the city center. There are two monuments on the banks of the lake, the Pioneers of Borborema consisting of three figures representing the Indian, the cotton picker, and drover, and the bronze monument statues of Luiz Gonzaga and Jackson do Pandeiro.   • Very nice and beautiful place in the city centre, great for walking, jogging or cycling. In the place there are some of the best restaurants and bars in the city.

  • The site is apparently safe, always watch cops doing patrol. Is a great option for those who like to exercise and coconut water. Has stereo p exercises. The only problem is that the dam is very dirty and smelly
