  • Very beautiful place, good for those who like cold water and waves for surfing. In high season, get ready to get traffic with heavy flow.

  • Clear blue waters and pristine white sand, with trails and underwater diving. But very expensive. But worth knowing!

  • We had the displeasure of knowing the island under rainy weather. Don't do the same crap. Are 40 minutes by boat to get there, and the time of visitation is 4:00. To get there, I run to get a table the only local restaurant. You can tell that the place must be wonderful, however, only with Sun under rain you run the risk of passing cold or lunch under water.

  • Lush beauty! Fascinating island! Incredible and fascinating experience! I went with my 9 year old son and left the Campeche beach. Super quiet transfer of bote, which lasted only 10 minutes and cost $150.00 per person, and he paid half. We went to 8:00 in the morning and there was already a line of 20 people, but how do we know that the limit was 80, all right! We take the Chair, umbrella and a thermal with fruits and snacks, because there is all very expensive. To give you an idea, a natural sandwich, paid $20.00!!! But on the other hand, the underwater trail is a must!! Take money, it costs $60.00 and is mindblowing! Unforgettable!! To dive it is not necessary to know how to swim. We saw turtles, hedgehog, carambola, shoals of fish and a blue luminescence magnificent!!! Is breathtaking! Sooo worth! The only thing missing was a waterproof camera to register the seabed .... I loved 😍 I want to go back, for sure! Beach clean, super conserved, fine white sand, crystal clear waters! Uhuuuuuuuu Franco majestic!

  • The view from the island is wonderful, the beach of white sand, tranquil sea bathing, however transport leaving the Campeche Beach, in a motorized dinghy, is limited: real 150/person in a queue with only 80 seats. Get there early (even a few 8:15 in the morning) to ensure your place. On the beach there is a restaurant just inland tours and snorkeling dives.

  • Is a unique place of so beautiful! The boat tours leaving from Barra da Lagoa cost around 100 reais and last more or less 1 hour. You can see beautiful places as the Praia da Galheta, Praia Mole, Praia da Joaquina and Praia do Campeche. But if you're not a big fan of boating, has also options coming out of own campeche Beach which lasts around 10 minutes. Arriving on the island by boat there are instructions of the monitors of the island about not leaving trash on the island, tour options and appropriate places to go in the water. There is a restaurant with dishes around 40 reais per person but only takes cash. The bathroom is after him is free to be used. There are options of hiking, but if it rains the day before some of them may be unavailable, and are paying around 10 real cash too. There is the option to do aquatic trails with diving suits further South or North of the island for 60 reais (accept) and there are restrictions for persons with labyrinthitis, asthma and other conditions that make the person may cough while underwater. In the own beach training and complete tour lasts around 1:20. After we took a boat for 5 minutes and each group (approximately 4 people) go with a guide, which shows fish, marine life and the best way to pass. Well worth the trip! They also rent out snorkel for real time 10 to be used only on the beach. Care should be taken with the coatis (mammals of the island who steal food and personal effects) and recommend taking a beach umbrella, since there isn't much shade.

  • Paradisiacal place, crystal clear waters, spectacular view from praia do campeche and the entire edge of the region. Get there only by boat, with four points, Campeche, Armação and South Marsh, and Barra da Lagoa, boatmen accredited and with a limited number of visitors and also with limited time to stay on the island. Some rules for visitors, all the garbage taken have to be brought back. There is a restaurant for visitors and an ecological path. Prices for crossing vary and depending on the point chosen to make the trip.

  • Both the beach as the island are wonderful ... Clean water, easy beach access. Contains restaurants and bars in the surroundings, the crossing to the island is very cheap and divine. Really worth knowing. One of the most beautiful of Santa Catarina.

Where to stay in Florianopolis

To get a true taste of the city's culture on your trip to Florianopolis, it's best to stay in the historical center on Santa Catarina Island. There you'll find plenty of accommodations--a significantly better selection than on the mainland--ranging from budget guesthouses and hostels to luxury hotels. Many guests, however, choose to take advantage of the island's charming nature by staying away from the city center, in the lakeside district of Lagoa da Conceição. For easy access to the best surf beaches on the island, stay a couple miles farther away at Mole Beach or Barra da Lagoa.
