Cascata dos Venancios, Cambara do Sul
Categories: Waterfalls, Nature & Parks
Get a natural massage in the crystal clear waters of Cascata dos Venancios, accessible by a rustic road through an isolated area of green hills. These four secluded waterfalls are close to a camping area, reachable by several well-maintained trails. Though the camping area is small, no reservations are necessary. Pitch a tent near the splashing water and have a picnic right on the grass. The terrain here is mostly flat, with lots of trees for natural shade on a hot day. There are picnic tables and grills that you can use, and a restroom facility a short way off. Make sure to bring your own snacks and drinks, as there are no typical tourist services on this site. We went with the Coyote. Venancio is the owner of the particular farm family where are the waterfalls, so go without experience is a little hard to find, in addition to having a lady car descent, in which it is necessary to evaluate if it's worth going to private car. There's not much beyond the beautiful falls. I don't know if it's paid for, but I believe so for being private (I paid a package). Requires a bit of "knee" up and down the rocks and paths, but it's not much.show original
