At sunset Jacare Beach is packed with visitors waiting to see the spectacle of light and water playing against each other. Musicians, arriving by boat at just the right moment, play the popular Ravel’s Bolero as the final rays of reddish sunshine sink into the sea. Arrive early to grab a good seat on the warm sand. After this show you can take a romantic walk to the pier, stopping by one of many food and drink stalls along the way for a quick meal. Renowned local grape wine is sold by many vendors. You can also choose to visit a nearby trendy restaurant, for a more relaxed atmosphere suited for families or groups travelling together. • The most beautiful sunset in the Sertão.
  • Nature is what the place has to offer, and it’s free. Don’t pay to watch the sunset from the boats. Not worth it. The boats (catamarã) won’t even move around the river. You can see and hear everything (sunset and the guy who plays Ravel’s Boléro in the saxofone) from land. Still beautiful to watch.
  • This place is really beautiful and charming Come by the sun set and you will by able to hear Ravel's Bolero The sound and the sight comes together and make it a magic place There are many shopping and eating There are bars and restaurants You can go on the boat to see the sun set
  • Very nice, but simple. Lots of shops with neat tourist items and some restaurants. Running the gauntlet of people trying to "sell" a parking space is annoying. Of course, Bolero at sunset is the highlight.
  • Best place to watch the sunset over the Rio Paraíba! There is a saxaphone player on the river at sunset! Lots of small merchants and places to eat.
