  • The visit is very worthwhile. There are wonderful trails, the guides (Guides Association) are very knowledgeable. The landscapes are beautiful. A place that all of Pernambuco that likes to travel must meet. If I have to choose only 1 day, make Tracks of the towers, the trail to see the stone of the Witch and the Lizard, and finally (in the evening) plateau.

  • Beautiful landscapes not yet discovered by the audience who likes nature-related experiences. We were fascinated with the serra do Catimbau mainly by the diversity of landscapes and archaeological wealth of the place. Perfect program for children/adolescents. My kids, 10 and 14 years, loved it.

  • The Park is about 36 km from the city of Arcoverde (25 km paved and 11 km of Buíque even dirt road to the village of Buíque Catimbau). In Vila do Catimbau hired a guide in the Guides ' Association (87 3816-3052) fixed cost of 100.00 R$. Pay an additional tb R$ 2.00 per person in each track. It's worth it. The landscapes are amazing, nothing getting due to the famous American parks (Grand Canyon, for example). The guide was very attentive, patient, assisted us taking photographs. Anyway, it was an unforgettable trip. We had two tracks, but we will return to meet others. In warmer weather you might want to avoid the period of 10 to 15 hours. The milder weather months are from May to August.
