Where to stay in Brumadinho

You won't find any accommodations particularly close to the open-air museum at Inhotim, despite its importance as the number one attraction in Brumadinho. Your best bet is to stay in one of the central neighborhoods of Sao Sebastiao or Estela Passos, where you'll easily be able to find transport to the museum. You can even make the 4 km (2.5 mi) journey by foot if you're feeling energetic. If you desire a closer proximity to nature, look for one of the handful of specialty accommodations within a 10 km (6.2 mi) radius of the city.

  • The church is the best place to visit, with typical local architecture and references to the Brazilian Baroque Art.  more »
  • By the way, coming down the mandatory passage is 040 Brumadinho (Inhotim). What most attracted our attention in our quick passage for mercy do Paraopeba, was the carelessness of the Government with the historical heritage. It is very sad to see abandoned houses, crumbling, decaying facades and badly made restorations (particularly in the Church of our Lady of piety). The place certainly has had his years of glory, at the beginning of the mining cycle. Missed and lack respect and affection with this small village tricentenária.
