  • Spectacular place. Even if you don't like contemporary art is worth the visit. Amazing vegetation. Extremely well maintained. Wednesday admission is free. Get ready for a whole day. If you're going with elderly people, buy the tickets of the electric carts.

  • Describe Inhotim seems easy, but it is a tricky task because it's almost impossible to pass on to the reader the pleasures and the different sensations that the location awakens. Starting with the beauty of the Botanical Garden, diverse and differentiated plants lush orchids and water mirrors some with beautiful shades, birds anyway a environmental composition and taste. It is a world that the person is invited to participate and who doesn't want to leave given peace, harmony, tranquility reigning. The Museum of contemporary art and also a SideShow. Some works are outdoors and others are housed in galleries, each one more beautiful than the other architecturally, which bears the name of the artist. The magnificent works. I loved every one of the proposals because the sensations are different and each work has an impact and forever in the life of the visitor. Here's my suggestion: analyze the map and separate the visitation in two days at least. If you prefer, take one of the routes using the motor car. Check out all over the place and don't forget to enjoy the Sonic Pavilion, Viewing Matinee, Bean drop, Elevazione, galleries Claudia Andujar, Miguel Rio Branco, Tunga and many others whose work are breathtaking. Don't forget to experience the pleasure of sitting on the benches under shady trees and hear the singing of the birds, mainly, of the thrushes. No rush. Prepare to be charmed and renew spiritual forces. I count the days to return to this place that is inspiration to move forward in the everyday struggles.

  • Inhotim is beautiful! The Park, the gardens and the artworks complement each other and form a breathtaking backdrop. The Park also is enviable, with bathrooms, restaurants, parking and accessibility _ the electric trolleys cover the entire route of the extensive Park. Contemporary art galleries are an interactive show, it is impossible to get out of the way we came in Inhotim. I certainly haven't seen half of what the place offered me, but I think that the intention is that, to lose themselves in the Park and suddenly surprised and want to go back.

Where to stay in Brumadinho

You won't find any accommodations particularly close to the open-air museum at Inhotim, despite its importance as the number one attraction in Brumadinho. Your best bet is to stay in one of the central neighborhoods of Sao Sebastiao or Estela Passos, where you'll easily be able to find transport to the museum. You can even make the 4 km (2.5 mi) journey by foot if you're feeling energetic. If you desire a closer proximity to nature, look for one of the handful of specialty accommodations within a 10 km (6.2 mi) radius of the city.
