  • The architecture of the main buildings of the University is amazing. The rooms of the MINHOCÂO, as it is called the central axis of auditoriums and classrooms, are underground, thinking in the heat of Brasilia and taking advantage of the winds and the coolness of the earth not to heat too. Most made in apparent concrete, has an admirable structure and design. Many tourists architects from other countries will visit the University to analyze the architectural feature.

  • Talk of UNB (formerly the N was tiny) is a nostalgic, because there I studied for 5 years, where I did the course of economy and to spare, I was President for 4 years, from FAUnB), because of what we do, in 1970, in Brasilia (only had 2 sports arenas), the XXI JUBs, University Olympiad with the presence of nearly 4000 athletes, with SP and RJ had athletes from athletics (Nelson Prudêncio , Olympic champion), basketball (Wlamir, Carioquinha, etc of the Olympic Brazil basketball selection), volleyball (ditto), swimming (ditto), INFLUENCED by the GREATNESS of the XXI JUBs, the University built Olympic Center your complete (copying the EE. UU: residential blocks, and blocks and top gym) I think the UNB has one of the largest geographic areas constructed from Brazil: College buildings, laboratories, research centers, Amphitheatres for classes, music, shows, movies, etc, etc, etc. Finally, there is the Central Institute of Science (the gigantic "long underwear") we all know that UNB was conceived by anthropologist DARCY RIBEIRO, one of the most important Educators of the country. He himself studied and made Lectures in the biggest and best universities in the world, based on that, what was better, adapting it to the Brazil of UNB, to cite one of these revolutions (actually many) the HORIZONTAL and VERTICAL INTEGRATION of ALL DEGREES (don't have time and space here to detail this). The fundamental of this dream of Darcy Ribeiro looks like revenge, some things don't, mainly because they couldn't be better adapted to the reality of brazilian University
