Place frequented by students. The architecture is very beautiful. You can't enter with scholarships, you can't make any kind of noise. It is forbidden to take pictures in places of study.

On the day of our visitation, soon as we approach the building a multitude of tiny heads huddled in a disorganised queue trying to be contained by the teachers. To what seemed, were primary students in a RAID to culture. From an early age they learn that she is not very well treated here. In the scorching sun of the sawed off those little creatures could not enter the library, because there was no room, or scheduling, could not enter the Museum, just outside, because I was in retirement, but they might understand what is culture, here. At any developed country these kids would have an air-conditioned space, with fun and educational activities and the end would win a lunch courtesy of a sponsorship. At any developed country these kids would have pleasure to remember the first visit to the library and so the library would be a recurring place to pleasure. But the lesson of the day was: what is culture? Around here! Remember that the building is spectacular, but the air conditioning does not work for months. While the Museum was closed to the public reform was in the air and running full steam ahead. Even when our people will suffer with this neglect?

The library is very rich, has a wonderful collection. Worth a trip even if you have nothing to check it. The place itself is beautiful. With a beautiful architecture.

Where to stay in Brasilia

Choosing where to stay during your trip to Brasilia can be somewhat difficult. Due to the city's distinctive layout and lack of a historical "center," accommodations have developed in clusters. By far the best range of options surrounds the distinctive green space of Jardim Burle Marx, in the city's two planned hotel districts. You can also find a good selection of lodgings around Vila Planalto, the city's designated political district, which sits not far from Brasilia's main lake. Wherever you decide to stay, make sure it's within reasonable distance of a metro station or bus stop--you'll want good access to public transport in order to easily navigate the city.
