Where to stay in Brasilia

Choosing where to stay during your trip to Brasilia can be somewhat difficult. Due to the city's distinctive layout and lack of a historical "center," accommodations have developed in clusters. By far the best range of options surrounds the distinctive green space of Jardim Burle Marx, in the city's two planned hotel districts. You can also find a good selection of lodgings around Vila Planalto, the city's designated political district, which sits not far from Brasilia's main lake. Wherever you decide to stay, make sure it's within reasonable distance of a metro station or bus stop--you'll want good access to public transport in order to easily navigate the city.

  • Here's an address mandatory visitation. The Museum in the national press, displays about 400 of parts and documents that embody not only the history of the press as the history of the graphic arts and printing industry of Brazil. Of the acquis the printing press used by the most famous Brazilian writer Machado de Assis, and the plant in the city of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro, copper piece sent to perform in 1808 by Prince Dom João VI, of the Portuguese royal family. The visit is very much guided by the person in charge of the Museum. Not to be missed.

  • The visit was a pleasant surprise. My family was accompanied by the employee Geraldo de Souza, who was very attentive and left the visitation more fun. It is always better to have this monitoring to discover facts and better understand the context. Unfortunately this is not a very visited by tourists, but definitely worth it. The collection counts with important parts for the Brazilian history and knitting machines, books and newspapers around the world.
