A memorial of the workers who built the city of Brasilia. Many workers died to build the monumental city, so worth a reflection on the history of the men and women who migrated to lift.

This is a set of wooden houses, which housed the first hospital dedicated to those who arrived in the cerrado, to build the new capital. Some homes are used as space for display of works of local artists, and the largest, to reproduce the offices of that time. However, the place and the lack of support from the authorities, because they run the risk of decay irreversible. In my opinion, is the 3rd place (first, the JK Memorial and second, the Catetinho), among the dozens of tourist attractions to be visited, in the Federal District, for we understand the whole situation, which involved that real Odyssey.

Acquis (objects and pictures) modest but expressive with the construction of Brasília and living conditions at the time, etc. Ronaldo (Museum Coordinator) is a "play" with your history and your enthusiasm about the history of "pioneers".

Where to stay in Brasilia

Choosing where to stay during your trip to Brasilia can be somewhat difficult. Due to the city's distinctive layout and lack of a historical "center," accommodations have developed in clusters. By far the best range of options surrounds the distinctive green space of Jardim Burle Marx, in the city's two planned hotel districts. You can also find a good selection of lodgings around Vila Planalto, the city's designated political district, which sits not far from Brasilia's main lake. Wherever you decide to stay, make sure it's within reasonable distance of a metro station or bus stop--you'll want good access to public transport in order to easily navigate the city.
