  • Very nice to see simply majestic by the immensity of time. Highlight that around the mast there are identification of all Brazilian States. Could be better preserved, missing letters.

  • There is nothing exceptional. The most interesting of this tourist spot is the banner exchange that takes place once a month and every time is made by one of the armed forces: Army, Navy and air force, with the appropriate honors deserves the National Pavilion. Then it is worth being there, but anyway it's worth dropping by and see; from afar you can spot her and is close to several other points of interest.

  • Giant flag representative of the giant country that Brazil is!!
  • Show
  • The flag mast was built in 1972 to represent the convergence of political powers in the idea of homeland. The project is by the architect Sérgio Bernardes, with 24 metal representing columns the number of States of the Federation of you time. With 100 meters high it flies a flag of Brazil with 286 replaced m2 in solemn ceremony the first Sunday of each month, in turn, by each of the armed forces and the Gobierto of Mexico City.

Where to stay in Brasilia

Choosing where to stay during your trip to Brasilia can be somewhat difficult. Due to the city's distinctive layout and lack of a historical "center," accommodations have developed in clusters. By far the best range of options surrounds the distinctive green space of Jardim Burle Marx, in the city's two planned hotel districts. You can also find a good selection of lodgings around Vila Planalto, the city's designated political district, which sits not far from Brasilia's main lake. Wherever you decide to stay, make sure it's within reasonable distance of a metro station or bus stop--you'll want good access to public transport in order to easily navigate the city.
