  • A beautiful artificial lake, with a beautiful space for picnics and exhibitions in the morning, and hype on the night shift, for its bars and restaurants.

  • What few people know is that the Lake Paranoá-DF was designed in 1894 by the Cruls Mission, the merit of your construction is JK. He has 48km2 and is cut by 4 bridges, being the JK the most spectacular of all, won contest in America. UU of the urban bridge most beautiful in the world! Most social clubs of Brasilia is on its banks: the National Congress, Brasilia, Yacht Club, Cota Mil, etc, etc. Its banks are home to dozens of restaurants yet, particularly the pontao in Lago Sul, a large area of gastronomy, leisure, fun, shows, etc. All the mansions of the so-called blocks from Lake (QLs) are their margins. It also hosts a good set of nautical and tourist tours, especially the boat ride at sunset.

Where to stay in Brasilia

Choosing where to stay during your trip to Brasilia can be somewhat difficult. Due to the city's distinctive layout and lack of a historical "center," accommodations have developed in clusters. By far the best range of options surrounds the distinctive green space of Jardim Burle Marx, in the city's two planned hotel districts. You can also find a good selection of lodgings around Vila Planalto, the city's designated political district, which sits not far from Brasilia's main lake. Wherever you decide to stay, make sure it's within reasonable distance of a metro station or bus stop--you'll want good access to public transport in order to easily navigate the city.
