  • Lúcio Costa didn't deserve this. In the middle of 3 Phoderes square, an underground Gallery with half a dozen panels, a smaller scale model showing the pilot plan, another larger, more detailed model about Brasília. Look, if it's for honor, they have the decency to do something interesting to say the least. Currently, the space is amazing ugly.

  • If you want to know the origin of Brasilia this is the place, now you got one photocopy giant of the decree establishing the creation of Brasilia, a giant maquena of the city and photographs of the construction of the new capital of Brazil. There are also gigantic planes of the city and its creator Mr. Lucio Costa.

  • It's nice to see the model of Brasília (which needs to be restored), but there's not much else to do. To learn more about Lúcio Costa and the construction of Brasilia visit the JK Memorial, is excellent.

  • Very nice model of brasilia
  • Belo local
  • History of the founding of the city. The model is beautiful, but is in need of restoration. The tactile model is a differential, as well as the lift which ensures accessibility.

  • Emphasis on the model of Brasília in the space. Access the stairs at the Plaza of the three powers close to the SUPREME COURT.

  • Very cool place, but I believe that this celebrity deserved a bigger space and more explanation of his grandiose project, telling the whole story of the creation of Brasília.

Where to stay in Brasilia

Choosing where to stay during your trip to Brasilia can be somewhat difficult. Due to the city's distinctive layout and lack of a historical "center," accommodations have developed in clusters. By far the best range of options surrounds the distinctive green space of Jardim Burle Marx, in the city's two planned hotel districts. You can also find a good selection of lodgings around Vila Planalto, the city's designated political district, which sits not far from Brasilia's main lake. Wherever you decide to stay, make sure it's within reasonable distance of a metro station or bus stop--you'll want good access to public transport in order to easily navigate the city.
