In fact, Congress has a great story, sure to meet. Only guided visits and lasts between 45 min, 1:00, but it's worth it, because it's very interesting and explanatory. There you know the divisions between members of Parliament and senators, the House where votes, gifts from representatives of other countries who visit parliamentarians are exposed, a lot of interesting work of art. A corridor with bust of characters in the story and pictures of parliamentarians from each State. The Hall of flags where they are exposed to all States and can take pictures. Camera and cell phone cameras are accepted, but anything with flash. It is possible to send postcard to family and friends. On weekends the visitation can be made with sports attire, however mid-week social and only visit scheduled, you can also participate in the sections in plenary. A beautiful site that's not his fault the decisions that are taken by people who pretend to work, too bad!

The only way in the Congress through a guided tour with advance booking on the site. It's a long tour. Has about 45 minutes to 1 hr of duration. I couldn't complete because my bb got very stressed. But what little I saw is very explanatory and to some extent too dull.

For good or ill, the National Congress building is without a doubt the great postcard. Despite being a little old fashion, the building still impresses is the shapes, by the murals by Athos Bulcão, or as sculptures by Alfredo Ceschiatti. Worth the visit. The building can't and shouldn't be held responsible for what happens there.

Where to stay in Brasilia

Choosing where to stay during your trip to Brasilia can be somewhat difficult. Due to the city's distinctive layout and lack of a historical "center," accommodations have developed in clusters. By far the best range of options surrounds the distinctive green space of Jardim Burle Marx, in the city's two planned hotel districts. You can also find a good selection of lodgings around Vila Planalto, the city's designated political district, which sits not far from Brasilia's main lake. Wherever you decide to stay, make sure it's within reasonable distance of a metro station or bus stop--you'll want good access to public transport in order to easily navigate the city.
