  • Is close to the Range. Well away from Brasilia. Wooden construction that has its attractions. Well conserved, maintains original items. Be sure to visit the trail that leads to the small stream with crystal clear water that is close. Água de beber, camará drinking water ... Worth the visit.

  • The Catete Palace (the Catetinho) is a construction, all wood, the first official resideência of PR, as succeeding to the Catete Palace in Rio de Janeiro, so the diminutive Catetinho of Brasília. He is 27 kms from the Centre of Brasilia in the city (district) of the Range. Their visitations are from Tuesday to Sunday in 09 schedule pm to 17 pm. The Catetinho preserve some objects and original furnishings. He was the first official residence of President Juscelino Kubistcheck. Photographic images and other objects complement the ambience in order to give an idea of the monumentality of the construction of Brasília. The Catetinho is a modest project of Oscar Niemeyer. Simple Museum, has been renovated, when you could have been thinking about giving some digital touch in the history of the construction of Brasilia. I think that contributes to your small number of visitations.

  • It's a trip back in time. If you visit the memorial JK in Brasilia and the House Kubitschek in BH you feel as if you knew the family.

Where to stay in Brasilia

Choosing where to stay during your trip to Brasilia can be somewhat difficult. Due to the city's distinctive layout and lack of a historical "center," accommodations have developed in clusters. By far the best range of options surrounds the distinctive green space of Jardim Burle Marx, in the city's two planned hotel districts. You can also find a good selection of lodgings around Vila Planalto, the city's designated political district, which sits not far from Brasilia's main lake. Wherever you decide to stay, make sure it's within reasonable distance of a metro station or bus stop--you'll want good access to public transport in order to easily navigate the city.
