Brasilia National Park, Brasilia

4.4
#5 of 10 in Parks in Brasilia
The largest park in the world located in an urban area at 423.83 square km (163.6 square mi), Brasilia National Park is known for its healing waters. The park is full of streams, pools, and watery caves that are mostly reachable via well-groomed trekking trails. Although the park is mapped out into zones that indicate the difficulty level of trekking--some require proper hiking gear--you can easily access lush forest and clean, mineral water pools without it. Inside the park, you will find large formations of quartzite and limestone that are shrouded in a green veil of vegetation. A visit to Brasilia National Park represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Brasilia trip itinerary builder app to plot your vacation.

It is a park with State subsidy super clean, with lifeguard first aid team, bathroom and showers only q with natural water so cold kkk. Bins for waste separation. Swimming pools with different water levels. Good for children and adults. Ice cold water. Even on hot days. Has differentiated output time trail is good check the last time. We didn't do but I know q has difficulty levels. Have parking facilities. Gotta pay a derisory price to enter. Oh t diner right chinfrinha. Few things and with normal diner prices. Is very worthwhile. If you are in Brasilia come on.

It is a great Park! A pretty good place to enjoy the nature and have a relaxing time with family and friends. I should have gone more frequently when I lived there.

Where to stay in Brasilia

Choosing where to stay during your trip to Brasilia can be somewhat difficult. Due to the city's distinctive layout and lack of a historical "center," accommodations have developed in clusters. By far the best range of options surrounds the distinctive green space of Jardim Burle Marx, in the city's two planned hotel districts. You can also find a good selection of lodgings around Vila Planalto, the city's designated political district, which sits not far from Brasilia's main lake. Wherever you decide to stay, make sure it's within reasonable distance of a metro station or bus stop--you'll want good access to public transport in order to easily navigate the city.
