Zimbros Beach, Bombinhas

(3.3/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
Zimbros Beach is recommended for its fish restaurants. This comes as no surprise, as local residents are fishermen who cultivate shellfish and oysters. The calm waters allow for water sports such as sailing and skiing. Those seeking tranquility can enjoy the scenery with vessels docked at the boardwalk. This was the first beach spotted by Azorean settlers in the peninsula. The settlers discovered junipers and hence the name of the beach. The beach is also an ecological center with regional examples of flora and fauna. Use our Bombinhas trip builder to arrange your visit to Zimbros Beach and other attractions in Bombinhas.

  • A beautiful beach, but without great attractions. Place to be quieter, but has better beaches.

  • Seems a good choice to get to know, the sea has waves, beaches are small and full of remains of molluscs, spend only a few hours.

  • Junipers is a species of district of Bombinhas, bordering with Canto Grande. Has good structure, such as markets, pharmacy, fish shops, restaurants etc. The beach is actually a bahia, without waves. For those who want to enjoy the beach recommend Mariscal or Canto Grande. Junipers is more for a House on the site, House on the seafront.
