Bombas Beach, Bombinhas

(4.1/5 based on 950+ reviews on the web)
Bombas Beach is a 2 km (1.2 mi) stretch of white sand and crystal clear waters, which range from a deep blue to emerald green. The unusual name Bombas Beach--or "Beach of Bombs"--is said to come from the Azorean explorers who discovered the region. The explorers heard the rumbling of waves through the jungle and mistook it for explosions. Along the beachfront, you will find plentiful restaurants and shops, should you find yourself lacking any supplies. Bombas Beach is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Bombinhas Edition.

  • Bombs was/is being revitalized as a whole, a great Boardwalk, good restaurants, good margin of sand near the village center.

  • It is a very small beach, even more so when the tide grows. This makes sure people is a punch to the other. It is too cumbersome. And adenas is an expensive destination, both in accommodation and services. It seems to me that the peninsula is much better as Marescal or Conceicao beaches
