  • I was thinking it would be a much smaller place than the other canyons of the region, but getting there the landscape surprised. You can go by horse to the Canyon, but the access is easy, a short walk to enjoy all the beauty of the place. Recommend!

  • Downside is having to pay R $10.00 to enter. The view from the horizon is very beautiful. Worth staying a while breathing some fresh air quietly and doing a good imagery!

  • Easily accessible location, right next to the mirante do Rio do Rastro. Is a Canyon of minors, but worth the visit. Is within the area of the wind farm.

  • Surreal
  • Right near the mirante da serra do Rio do Rastro. Take the output of the wind farm and move on. The place is in a private property and the entry was 10 reais per person when I went. The view is simply amazing!! Worth it!!

Where to stay in Bom Jardim da Serra

The outdoorsy spirit of the town has been nicely reflected in some of the more popular accommodations located here, with rustic and character-filled lodges, homely and humble pousadas (guesthouses), and ecologically-aware resorts. Following the main arterial road west or east reveals the most popular hideaways, with many accommodations occupying secluded areas within the hills and valleys of the region. During peak season, pre-booking for the duration of your stay is essential.
