Boca da Onca Falls, Bodoquena

Eleven waterfalls with three stops for swimming and a chance to rappel make the Boca da Onca Falls a must see for the nature lover in you. You'll climb up 800 stairs to the top of waterfalls that descend like veils over the craggy rocks. Once there, you will rappel in a pair over the ledge down 90 m (295 ft) into a gorge. This is a good option for a beginner to the outdoors, as you will be guided through the area by a trained professional and a maintained wooden walkway make up the trail. Before arriving, brush up on your Portuguese because not all the guides speak English. However, language skill won't be needed around the delicious meal they will lay before you at the end of your tour. Use Inspirock's suggestions to plan your Bodoquena trip and find the best activities and attractions for your vacation.

  • I and my husband came in the Beautiful honeymoon and we were a little disappointed not with the place but because the prices are exorbitant in all tours. We were in chapada dos VEADEIROS last year so it's impossible not to compare the sites. We did almost all categories of possible tours because we spent 9 days here and I can say that this tour and overvalued despite famous. Waterfalls dull with hubris that prevent the use of the site. There are two possible ways to do when you finish climbing steps or 900 starts down the same 900 steps. Unfortunately the first group and we ended up having to climb that was extremely tiring. Our guide could not swim what doesn't match the amount paid for the ride. We were in a group in which people were afraid and who ended up helping we and not the Guide. Good lunch and hammocks after lunch on site. Floor maintenance networks site and released what caused my husband to fall. Swimming pool good but with very slime.

  • If you like a little trail and beautiful waterfalls, this is a great place to go. There is a good framework to reach the waterfalls including a truck up to stairs, and everything is very safe. Our guide was Jair, which is excellent. Very thoughtful, careful and knew to take the class. I recommend spending the day.

  • Without doubt a ride of a lifetime in the Bodoquena. The waterfall in the hole of the monkey is wonderful and know the Mouth of the Jaguar, the largest waterfall MS is indescribable. Very quiet and easy trail access. I think it's great that visitors are separated into small groups. We went in a group of 9 people and as the hours between one group and another are spaced, we'd always go waterfalls empty already. I think it's great!
