Boca da Onca Falls, Bodoquena

(4.7/5 based on 1,500+ reviews on the web)
Eleven waterfalls with three stops for swimming and a chance to rappel make the Boca da Onca Falls a must see for the nature lover in you. You'll climb up 800 stairs to the top of waterfalls that descend like veils over the craggy rocks. Once there, you will rappel in a pair over the ledge down 90 m (295 ft) into a gorge. This is a good option for a beginner to the outdoors, as you will be guided through the area by a trained professional and a maintained wooden walkway make up the trail. Before arriving, brush up on your Portuguese because not all the guides speak English. However, language skill won't be needed around the delicious meal they will lay before you at the end of your tour. • We did a 3-hour ride that ended with the beautiful waterfall of the mouth of the Jaguar. A super place preserved and cinematic landscapes, I recommend to everyone who likes adventure, at the end there are over 800 steps to return to civilization, a big effort for the calves.

  • The total duration of the tour is 3:30 to 4 hours. First there is an explanation of the tour by Guide and then we took a van to the beginning of the path. I did the course backwards. With this, the main staircase of 800 steps stood as way down at the beginning of the tour (not a climb at the end) and the best of the tour was to the end: the monkey. The trail is not tiring and there are 4 diving spots and other points for contemplation. TAKE MOSQUITO REPELLENT, water and some fruit if you experience hunger. The receptive infrastructure is excellent! You can spend all afternoon, until 4:00 pm there. Lunch is delicious and there's hammocks after eating.

  • Beautiful waterfalls and landscapes during the tour of approx. 5 hours long. I started doing the abseiling amazing, are 90 m of adrenaline, and incrívelll views, gave a little scared but I was. Very GOOOD. After we made tracks and know more 5 waterfalls, one more beautiful than the other. In total there are 4 stops to bath and contemplative 2. The best is the monkey, Jaguar's mouth is beautiful, too. The whole route is quite tiring. I don't recommend doing another tour on the same day. the tour ended and 2:30 pm Approx we then enjoyed a delicious lunch.
