(4.7/5 based on 1,500+ reviews on the web)
Eleven waterfalls with three stops for swimming and a chance to rappel make the Boca da Onca Falls a must see for the nature lover in you. You'll climb up 800 stairs to the top of waterfalls that descend like veils over the craggy rocks. Once there, you will rappel in a pair over the ledge down 90 m (295 ft) into a gorge. This is a good option for a beginner to the outdoors, as you will be guided through the area by a trained professional and a maintained wooden walkway make up the trail. Before arriving, brush up on your Portuguese because not all the guides speak English. However, language skill won't be needed around the delicious meal they will lay before you at the end of your tour. • More than 800 steps that are worth. 4 bath in waterfalls and a beautiful forest. Recommended.

  • The ride lasts around 5 hours and has 4 km of route. Depending on the order of the groups, you can start with a descent of almost 900 steps or finish the tour having to climb the same 900 steps. In addition, there are small climbs and smaller ladders during the trail. Therefore, it is a ride suitable for non-sedentary, since it requires a physical effort. I did the ride starting at the descent of the stairs, I was lucky because down is better than up. RS. But come on to the good stuff that makes up for the physical exertion. The trail allows a great contact with nature and there are 9 waterfalls along the way. We stopped at 3 to bathe. One is more beautiful than the other! Is breathtaking! Do not forget to take a bath in the cave of Monkey, was the most beautiful waterfall! Lunch is included and very delicious! Do this 1000 times!

  • It is simply wonderful! We start with a car that leaves us at the beginning of the trail.. Trail grueling but compensates for each step and each step that up and down! Not recommend for sedentary people, it's really long and tiring! Of all the waterfalls what delighted me was the Hole of the monkey, a wonderful work of nature, is surreal! Highlight for our guide, with wonderful explanations and an enormous sympathy, patience, good humor and good will. The wonderful farm and lunch served. Definitely recommend a visit!
