Waterfall
Eleven waterfalls with three stops for swimming and a chance to rappel make the Boca da Onca Falls a must see for the nature lover in you. You'll climb up 800 stairs to the top of waterfalls that descend like veils over the craggy rocks. Once there, you will rappel in a pair over the ledge down 90 m (295 ft) into a gorge. This is a good option for a beginner to the outdoors, as you will be guided through the area by a trained professional and a maintained wooden walkway make up the trail. Before arriving, brush up on your Portuguese because not all the guides speak English. However, language skill won't be needed around the delicious meal they will lay before you at the end of your tour. • The place is amazing! Many waterfalls, a track and a beauty to take a breath. Well worth getting to know. Too beautiful.

  • Amazing new ride, they should call the monkey Hole. One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen, much better than the Mimosa Resort.

  • Our tour was scheduled for 8:00 and as it was raining quite left the hotel well in advance not to delay in the case of some unforeseen event ... we arrived too early, the 7:20 h, is as soon as we arrived we were told that the ride would delay because it was raining and for this reason people would arrive later on the property. That upset a little because in our agency we were informed that there could not be any delay in tours, with the penalty of losing the ride without reimbursing the groups were closed and limited number of people. The ride began at around 9:30 and headed by Roadside stews. Doing offers a simple breakfast to visitors (coffee, tea, crackers, margarine and cake) which I thought was pretty sweet. Moderate trail, with a staircase of more than 800 steps early on, you've given a run-around in the majority. Some tours are the reverse, with the staircase at the end of the climb! The first waterfall we visited was the which gives its name to the farm, boca da onça. The volume of water was fine and the bathroom area was small because of the risk of an accident with the wear of rock high, very pretty, but should draw more attention when with greater volume of water. The guide is helpful, we presented part of the flora typical of the region, in some small waterfalls, a really hot Beach to bathe and to the end, met the famous hole in the monkey! The day was rainy weather which damaged our experience! I confess that I had a little fear and recommend enter life jacket available at the entrance of the cave. On sunny days it is beautiful! Getting thirsty, after over 3:00 of moderate walk, lunch was ready, which was a bit frustrating. The food is tasty, homemade! Black chicken, meat with sauce pantaneiro (I thought the meat quite consistent for my palate, but with good seasoning), rice, beans, salads varied, farofa ... food from home! It wasn't the best ride in beautiful waterfalls, maybe not repeat at the next opportunity. But fulfills its promises.
