Where to stay in Boa Vista

With road links to cities in Venezuela and Guyana, Boa Vista's accommodations largely cater to business travelers. As such, simple, moderately priced business hotels represent the majority of accommodations in Boa Vista. However, looking just south of the main semi-circle at the center of the planned city, find a larger choice of holiday-oriented hotels, with good lists of facilities and amenities, including onsite bars, restaurants, swimming pools, and spas.

  • Worth a visit, you will find local handmade art for a good value for money. Near downtown with a beautiful view of Rio Branco (White river). Prepare for the hot weather no ar conditioning there.  more »
  • The vendors and the vendors have that sympathy of the people of the North and offer a reasonable variety of Indian handicrafts. Find cheaper items than we had already bought in a shop in the Centre, close to our hotel. Before you buy, it's worth doing some research.

  • It is close to the Church of our Lady of Mount Carmel and the rim, but is unkempt and had few stores open when I was there (on a Thursday afternoon). But it's a good option to buy handicrafts.

  • Some pieces are cheaper in production and Marketing Center of Indian handicrafts of Roraima, which is inside the Parque Anauá. Here you will find more varieties.
