I've climbed several times the Spitzkopf. Is a little tiring but worth it. Of the several climbs that will score more was held on the morning of 23/07/2013, a few hours after a snowstorm that struck much of Santa Catarina. I feel privileged, because there have been few people who went up the Hill and saw the snow close on this historic day. I began the ascent that morning around 9 o'clock, and I was fortunate to be going up at the same time another person, thus I got a ride. More or less missing some 2 km to the peak had many branches and fallen trees on the way, probably breaking due to the weight of the snow. There was parking the bike and complete the ascent on foot. We managed to reach the peak around 10 hours. I still found enough snow on the top. Anyway, the site is already pretty much got better. We can still see some nearby mountains and part of encano with snow. Too bad the camera phone wasn't good enough to capture all that was seen, but still got the record.

The view is breath-taking in Serra do Itajaí. The ascent/descent is a little heavy for beginners because it lasts on average 4, 5:00. But believe me, it's worth it in the end.

The trail is pulled p/who has no resistance and is not used. It took me 2 hours to go up and the same time to descend. The ground is quite irregular, with many rocks and steps. But Valley super worth the view up there is beautiful! Paid 10.00 to enter, get there early on weekends because the queue is large.
