  • The Museum is very beautiful, unique and historical architecture. Inside account of the history of the region, with costumes, objects, documents, etc. It has a very beautiful forest with native trees and fruit trees, duly identified. The location is easy to access by the BR 101, has private parking, free of charge. The side has a beautiful church which was closed when we visited. Worth a stop when visiting the South coast of Santa Catarina.

  • Thousands pass through him, on BR-101, and have no idea what this is about-the name doesn't help. Basically it is a Museum of the history of colonization and the Azorean culture in greater Florianópolis – the capital doesn't have. San Miguel was the first nucleus of colonization of Biguaçu, so the colonial mansion and the Church are there. In General, the Museum has a good structure and a considerable acquis, with good level of information. The weak point is divided between the history of the Azores and Biguaçu, what boggles the visitor. No more careful with the collection as well. Could be a big if I charged a symbolic entry Museum and invest a little bit, but as it is managed by the State is relegated to last priority of local politics that is culture. Still, worth a visit.

  • We were met by a military police officer and charismatic. The visit is fast, but interesting. The demonstration rooms and as they were at the time, clothing, coins, money, pictures, ... We visited on a Saturday, so the visit was guided. Also it was raining a lot, and we weren't able to meet outside.

  • Place that brings a little of the history of Brazil and of the presence of the Imperial family with pieces of the season well distributed and stored within the original mansion rooms, the tour of the place makes you feel as if you have traveled back in time and shows the structure available in an environment surrounded by nature, the small church alongside with almost 300 years complete the ride.

  • Nice Museum to see some of the Azorean culture. Although the museum itself doesn't have a lot, your outdoor area is very nice to spend some time enjoying nature. Great place for those who want to spend a day talking sitting on the grass.

  • It's worth strolling through the external area, a small botanical garden. Unfortunately some plates with names of trees are off

  • Quiet place, worth a stop and enjoy a little of the history of the region.
