There really is a great consistency. The beach has a beautiful view and is very nice with a very nice sea.

The beach is very popular for tourists and therefore is very crowded on holidays and weekends. Has a wide range of hard sand, great to play catch, run, ride ... The waves are strong and the water is clean. Has place to park in front of the beach and some trailers and tents selling drinks and portions ... Due to lack of education of the regulars, cleaning leaves something to be desired when the beach is full ... Not the best beach of Bertioga, but off-season worth knowing ...

Where to stay in Bertioga

Most of Bertioga’s visitors are domestic tourists, many of whom have holiday homes in the area. When the owners aren’t enjoying a vacation, they rent out the properties, at what is often a very reasonable rate. These homes-away-from-home vary widely, ranging from studio apartments to luxurious villas. If you’d prefer to stay in a hotel on your vacation, consider any of a number of large establishments near the beachfront. Bear in mind that prices tend to increase the closer you get to the sea. Bed and breakfasts or inns, referred to as “pousadas,” are often more budget friendly.
