Excellent ride to a place to which access is restricted accompanied by Guide, but that to have this trait, Itatinga is a very well preserved village where is located the oldest dam in the country's activity that provides power to the port of Santos and that have unique architecture. In addition, the village is a real trip to the time where you can only get through a cable car. There are hiking trails and waterfalls. Excellent ride and it is highly recommended that you do so preferably on sunny days.

The visitation has restricted access and has to be marked in a local agency. The tour begins with a boat crossing to the cable car that takes you to the village. You can see the English-inspired houses, as well as the waterfall and old machinery. A return in time.

An ecological paradise, responsible for feeding the largest port in Latin America, I am proud to be part of this beautiful story, plant responsible for much of the development of the port of Santos and the country! These days, in addition to continue contributing so gigantic and consequently to Federation economy, large historical collection on the development of the whole, technological development (being a milestone) and great ecological paradise, unusual species of animals and plants. Meet Itatinga, is sure to be one of the best tours that a citizen can do in baixada santista.

Where to stay in Bertioga

Most of Bertioga’s visitors are domestic tourists, many of whom have holiday homes in the area. When the owners aren’t enjoying a vacation, they rent out the properties, at what is often a very reasonable rate. These homes-away-from-home vary widely, ranging from studio apartments to luxurious villas. If you’d prefer to stay in a hotel on your vacation, consider any of a number of large establishments near the beachfront. Bear in mind that prices tend to increase the closer you get to the sea. Bed and breakfasts or inns, referred to as “pousadas,” are often more budget friendly.
