  • I live in Bertioga and know very well that beach. calm water and proper place for families. Close to supermarkets and served by street vendors that supply the snacks and juices and beer.  more »

  • Excellent beach. I went on holiday and it was empty. The beach is clean, well cared for. Without massive crowd. Only a few saved lives. Has market, pharmacy, restaurant near. Only a few kiosks but that's not a problem. Quite safe and enjoyable. I had to walk from the Inn where I was with my family. The beach is so close.

Where to stay in Bertioga

Most of Bertioga’s visitors are domestic tourists, many of whom have holiday homes in the area. When the owners aren’t enjoying a vacation, they rent out the properties, at what is often a very reasonable rate. These homes-away-from-home vary widely, ranging from studio apartments to luxurious villas. If you’d prefer to stay in a hotel on your vacation, consider any of a number of large establishments near the beachfront. Bear in mind that prices tend to increase the closer you get to the sea. Bed and breakfasts or inns, referred to as “pousadas,” are often more budget friendly.
