  • Almost head-on with the Enseada Beach, in Bertioga, you will find the lighthouse. He is on a headland of the island of Santo Amaro (Guaruja). Serves to signal the presence of Earth to Mariners. The place is beautiful and yields great photographs.

Where to stay in Bertioga

Most of Bertioga’s visitors are domestic tourists, many of whom have holiday homes in the area. When the owners aren’t enjoying a vacation, they rent out the properties, at what is often a very reasonable rate. These homes-away-from-home vary widely, ranging from studio apartments to luxurious villas. If you’d prefer to stay in a hotel on your vacation, consider any of a number of large establishments near the beachfront. Bear in mind that prices tend to increase the closer you get to the sea. Bed and breakfasts or inns, referred to as “pousadas,” are often more budget friendly.
