Almaunica Winerie, Bento Goncalves

(4.1/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
As you approach the beautiful, modern Almaunica Winerie, you will be greeted enthusiastically by one of the owners. Although relatively new to the business, the two brothers are the sons of one of the oldest winemakers in the Vale dos Vinhedos, the most traditional of all Brazil’s wine producing regions. You will learn about the fascinating development and production of the award-winning wines through demonstrations and tasting sessions, and the tour takes you down into the cellar where the wines are aged in imported oak barrels. The shop sells the full range of wines, but if you can’t wait, the garden has spectacular views of the vineyards and is the perfect setting to appreciate a glass, or two. • Young wine, 6 years with the doors open, but has very highly regarded wines including Wine Club. In front of the entry has 2 parreraes where they can take pictures. Is almost at the entrance on the wine route. Prices starting from $65.00 and degsustação can be made. Credit cards accepted and there is no need to schedule a visit.

  • The Winery is beautiful. Only in worth. Is small, and the service was practically unique, just for my husband and I. It may have been luck, but only had the people to do the tour at that time, and we had the whole world's attention. The Winery is very new, and so she doesn't have that "romantic-nostalgic" of Italian immigrants. On the other hand, everything there is careful in its smallest details, from the manufacture of wine in House decoration, which also contributes to give the environment that is welcoming for all corners of the Rio Grande do Sul. The highlight is the tasting, which is one of the most expensive in the region, but it's worth it. In addition to the quality of wine start at the "middle", are 13 varieties that make up the tasting. The Chardonnay. Was fantastic!

  • Medium-sized Winery, with capacity to produce wines of excellent quality. The tasting is varied, with possibilities of prices for different pockets. The visitation is well explained with very specific details. Very careful and intelligent production. Don't miss your chance to meet this producer of Brazilian wines of great quality.
