Where to stay in Belo Horizonte

Most of the city's accommodations lie within the inner ring road, in close proximity to the best attractions in Belo Horizonte. For convenience, look to stay in the vicinity of Praça Raul Soares, the city's central park and rotary. You can also find a range of high-rise hotels a bit farther south, in the neighborhoods of Boa Viagem and Savassi, close to Praça Diogo de Vasconcelos. About 10 km (6.2 mi) north of the city center, the 1940s neighborhood of Pampulha stands out as one of the most interesting places to visit in Belo Horizonte, and offers a decent selection of lodgings near the airport.

  • The square is beautiful, but is poorly attended, and this makes the dangerous environment at night, but during the day it's quiet

  • This square located on Avenida Amazonas, was reformed by PBH but unfortunately is taken over by the homeless, what prevents people for fear of the same, a shame.

  • The square is beautiful, with an architecture of the time of construction of the city. Well kept flower beds and tree-lined. During the day offers a delightful space with Sun and the freshness of the fonts. But the night and weekends is not convenient to stop by.

  • Nice place but a little dangerous to walk using a mobile phone
  • Not too ugly or dangerous. Worth a look. Not very far are other interesting places, such as the central market and diamond mall.
  • Beautiful plaza, but it's permanently inhabited by homeless people
  • Top
  • Strange place, bars and hookers
