  • I know this island since childhood. Only last time I wanted to do something different with my nephews. So we packed tents and camp near the beach. We saw the sunrise and Sun only. We took a walk on the beach in the morning.

  • Quick trip from Bethlehem. We were on the beach of will-who-wants. The carriage ride cotijuba Harbour to the beach is a long one. We went from cart, but the cart driver was a show. The back was made of "streetcar" that is nothing but a tractor. City Hall should take better care of this island. The visit is very worthwhile!

  • You can only get there by boat. The ideal is to go to the port of Icoaraci (some 40 km of Belém) by car or bus, and there catch a boat to make the crossing (leaves every hour, until the 5:00 pm every day and costs $5.00 per person). The crossing lasts about 40 minutes and landing in the Cotijuba portinho is already anticipated by motorcycle taxi drivers and owners of cart to take the people to the beaches. That's where you take the boat to return, that leaves time and time tbm. We came back in the last, that left the island the 6:30 pm. On the day we went we couldn't go to the beach of the Will who wants because it had rained much in the days before and the road was impractical. We ended up going to the beach of the lighthouse, which is the first coming out of the port. We paid $10 each to the wagon, we were 4 people (I thought it was absurd, because the beach is very close, so much so that on the way back we came on foot by a shortest path indicated by the restaurant staff). Praia do farol is nice too, wonderful water, has no stones, it is always interesting to have a different experience, so we decided to take advantage of rather than regret not being able to go on the Go who wants to. We stayed at the first restaurant and we were very well attended. Find the cheap beer and snacks too, besides being delicious. I just don't recommend the dish meal because it is more expensive and not so tired as snacks. What I didn't like: there's no bins on the beach and unfortunately people leave a lot of rubbish that way. The loud sound of the restaurants it is not legal for those who are not used to it and don't like the music, but it's habit, so try not to get angry.
