#1 of 92 in Things to do in Belem
Landmark Tourist Spot
The old harbor of Belém, now called Estacao das Docas is huge complex with several buildings, grounds, and spaces offering everything from dining, shopping, entertainment, cultural events, and concerts all within its mega grounds. Fill your empty belly on the Boulevard of Gastronomy, then relieve your curiosity on the Boulevard of Arts. Other locations include several levels of the Warehouse, the Mezzanine, and the River Terminal Docks. An amphitheater showcases theatrical performances, musical artists, and fashion shows. An Indoor theater venue is useful for catching an intimate concert, theater production, or film.

The main, large suspended stage moves back and forth on tracks 8 m (25 feet) above you, and over the microbrewery, surrounding stores, and restaurants so you will never miss one note of your favorite performer's set. Booths sell locally made souvenirs, many of which are made by artisans with high-quality materials and workmanship. Outside walkways along the oceanfront display antique cranes used in fishing operations of yesteryear. • Location super nice in the evening, meeting point for a good conversation watered with a beer. Very good at night when the weather gets milder.

  • Great food, great for happy hour and see the sunset. The remaining Amazon beer is very good, excellent drinks: Bacuri and food and Cerpa the puppy stew, with chestnut and rice crust of Jambu. Dishes served.

Its central business district, around Avenida Presidente Vargas, offers plenty of large, high-end hotels catering to visiting businesspeople and those looking to enjoy the city in style.
