  • Well, the slave Museum is located at the Hotel Fazenda Ponte Alta in Barra do Piraí-RJ. It can certainly be considered one of the best places to understand the functional historic polygon of a coffee farm from the 19th century, as well as the routine of slaves. Upon arriving, we came across the imposing gates of the Farm, and then access a dirt road, where begins the journey into the past, experiencing the atmosphere of a farm. Arriving at the headquarters and then we came across Mr. Baron and Baroness Mambucaba, welcoming us. On the tour we are led to the slave Museum, which still has several tools used at the time. With a large collection of things used in the time we had slavery in our country. A Rico place for history, where pictures and shows in detail a little as they were the slaves, as were the farms of slaves at the time of the Empire, how really was the way of life of the barons of the 19th century,
