  • We spent a very pleasant afternoon at the farm of Taquara. The person who received us is the family of the owners, then he told the story of the region, the farm and the family, since the 19th century, and had the legitimacy to do that-part of the information picked up in books and another part has been told by his grandmother and other relatives. After the initial conversation, strolled in the House, going through dozens of rooms (bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms etc) with objects typical of the time, belonging to family members. In the end, we had a delicious afternoon snack, with breads, sweets and cheeses (inspired by the kitchen of Minas Gerais).

  • Farmhouse coffee cycle. A trip back in time. And how to make a trip since the 19th century, with furniture and objects that depict the everyday life of those who lived there. The stately mansion very well maintained with beauty of the place is an invitation to return.

  • The seat, still in perfect state of conservation, preserving your story, with furniture and original pictures. Today, the Bamboo farm is owned by Mr. John direct descendant of the 5th generation and administered by your son Marcelo Streva, 6th generation, which also performs at the mansion guiding, coffee plantation and, at the end of the visitation, plays the piano during lunch or snack to visitors. Interesting thing is that to this day, produces coffee, as in the last century. Marcel is very cool and makes a perfect explanation of the history of the coffee cycle. Lunch is wonderful! All very yummy!
