  • The waterfall of the power plant is one of the most famous in the region. For easy access by car, without having to make tracks, ends up being the easiest option of the city to enjoy a waterfall. Most of the year the water is quite cold, but in the months of August to December the water temperature stays more pleasant. The structure of the Club since the city decided to evict the structure, which was previously held by Freemasonry, scrapped. What worth there is the waterfall. There's a bar that sells some types of drinks and snacks, but it's pretty simple. The part of the morning is always quiet. Most people start to arrive after the 1:00 pm. If you want quiet go in the morning and enjoy an almost private waterfall. The rate of visitation is very cheap, only $ $5.00.

  • The waterfall of the plant is an attraction located in the Park of Serra Azul, in point right near the town of Barra do Garças. Upon arrival, there is a Concierge Desk where a nice gentleman receives visitors and the 5.00 ticket per adult/adolescent. He instructs quickly where to go and Park the car. After the Ordinance, there is a wooded area dirt road used as a parking lot and that the weekends should fill completely. This snippet a little larger than a football stadium is a kind of lobby. The rest of the tour is done the walk to the falls, by a small road. After go about 200 meters, you will reach an area with a Ballroom on the left, an old playground on the right and at the bottom you can see the waterfall the waterfall. The flow was little in June and had a shallow pond and crystalline, perfect for children to play. In days of warmth to the weekends, 50 people crowd the place easily. The water is really cold and for adults is cool. There is a structure of an old power plant attached to the waterfall. The site is surrounded by tables for the visitors do picnics and barbecues. However, the oversight is evident and the attractions deserve reform and updating. A fatal trap is on the way between the parking lot and the waterfall. On the left, meaning waterfall, you hear a murmur falling waters Fort. The Creek formed shortly after cascade off a huge prainha fall! There is a pit next to the track, without fence or any protection, in addition to the vegetation of the edge of the ravine. I don't want to believe in the tragedies that can occur on a Sunday, when unsuspecting parents are to recreate and let kids running loose in the area. My little girl let go of my hand and almost plunged this ravine. Never going back. I believe the place deserved ban for Civil Defense and environmental agencies to provide readjustment in terms of security, for only then release the use for visitation. In due course, the access to the Park passes in front of an emergency room. Not recommend for families with small children, despite the beauty of the waterfall.

  • Nice place, nice family to spend the day with friends and family. We love the environment, has a coffee shop, but you can bake a meat. Anyway, very good.

  • The waterfall of the plant is beautiful. Stay close to the Centre and the access to it is a very refreshing. The man who runs the local access (tickets to 5.00 dollars) is polite and helpful. The Lake below the waterfall has crystal clear waters and shallow parts, perfect for children in very hot days, because its waters are too cold. The site requires renovations in playgrounds. Thought it was cool hanging out on weekdays, since the site seems to get crowded with about of 100 people. However, the place is not safe, in my opinion. To get to the waterfall, from the Concierge, you walk about 200 meters, including beside a huge cliff, with various points with no fence. Real chasm, where you can glimpse through heavy foliage, parts of a huge rock fall d ´ water. Parents heedless and unaware of the place, don't let your kids loose in that area, because they can plummet this abyss. I was really scared. Just above this huge falls, the Creek is shallow, you can and torrential, ballroom level of the site. Environmental and Civil Defense organs should pay attention to this item.

  • The waterfall is good, very cold depending on the schedule. Poor structure, without signaling is difficult access to Christ by trail.
